Forum and Aaranyak organised the two day workshop on Water Conflicts in Northeast India in Guwahati on 21 and 22 June 2013.

This workshop was to reconvene all the contributors of the “Water Conflicts in Northeast India: A Compendium of Case Studies” and to take forward Forum's initiative in the Northeast. Apart from the authors we also tried to get a few more persons from the North East who have been concerned about water conflict issues in the region and also those who have been associated with the Forum’s initiative in the North East. The workshop was attended by nearly 40 people.

The workshop had following major presentations based on the themes/ conflict case studies included in the compendium.
