The Forum and the Orissa Water Forum together would be organising a one day seminar on water conflicts in Orissa This one day seminar will attempt to map the ongoing, emerging and imminent water conflicts in the state of Orissa. It would also explore roadmaps for their analysis and documentation along with the options and processes for their resolution and prevention. We are expecting participation of about hundred participants representing academia, media, government departments, NGOs, peoples’ representatives, engineers, researchers etc. from different parts of Orissa. The seminar also includes a book launch of Water Conflicts in India: A Million Revolts in the Making published by Routledge.
