Sunita Nadhamuni
Sunita Nadhamuni is the CEO of Arghyam, a charitable trust working towards the vision of access to safe and sustainable water for all. Arghyam (www.arghyam.org) supports more than 50 projects across the country and has also driven several initiatives including the India Water Portal (www.indiawaterportal.org), and an Integrated Urban Water Management model for small towns. Sunita is a computer professional having had a long career in the US at several companies. For 20 years now she has been actively involved in the development sector; in 1990 she founded Seva a not-for-profit organization in the California Bay Area dedicated to supporting efforts for the marginalized in India. She played key roles in Indians for Collective Action, Rejuvenate India Movement and American India Foundation before moving back to India in 2002. She has been the CEO of Arghyam since 2005.
